Natalie is a twenty-something singer/songwriter/communicator.
After earning a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Seattle Pacific University two years ago, she headed southeast to Nashville, where she spent a year interning at a bustling recording studio. After learning much from the Music City of America, she circled back around, arriving at L.A. recording and playing shows at many a venue, from the infamous Viper Room to sunny backyard gatherings. Now, with a newly released EP and a presence on iTunes, she's gathering her bags, along with her thoughts and hitting the road!
What is the Nouns Tour?
The Nouns Tour is a journey sharing songs and telling stories at various college campuses and homes around the U.S. It's called "Nouns" because it focuses on spending time with people...in places...with things...(like guitars and songs and conversations and food). Its main purpose is to have a conversation and ask the question, "How does one live a good story?" All findings and responses from people all over the U.S. will be compiled and re-told on a blog along the way, and later on an album called "Nouns."
What is the thought behind it? What will students and friends walk away with?
For students, the thought is that when college is over, decisions must be made. Scary ones. A few common decisions beg the question, "Where will I live?" "Where will I work?" "Who will I be with?" Natalie faced these questions just two years ago along with many friends graduating from a four-year education and has come through them with the strong belief that God has a good story in mind for each of us. How do we best live out that story? This tour is searching out others' answers to that question and offers what Natalie has discovered thus far.
Natalie looks forward to hearing responses and learning from people all over the country regarding this idea of living a good story. What stories will be written in the blog? What songs will come from this pursuit? This is what the Nouns Tour is about.
